Valiant Artificial Lift Solutions came to us as a relatively new company. While they already had an existing logo and some standard branding materials, their goal was to achieve the polished look of a company that was growing and destined to be even larger.
Creative process
We began our partnership by polishing their existing standards. Enhancing their brand guide, color palette and typographic standards were all part of the initial process. The guiding principle behind our design decisions was to improve the overall stature and “weight” of their company’s image.
New Website
The design process originated in our strategic discussions with the client. By encouraging them to visit other websites and share what they found most interesting, we were able to convert that feedback into a comprehensive and custom web design.
This process resulted in a great example of our aggressive design approach. Dominant dark colors are often atypical for new website projects. In this case, it was a strategic decision to add a level of boldness to their design. These dark colors and the use of visual metaphors throughout the site continually reinforce this message of substance and experience.
Composite Brochure
A specialty brochure project is the first example of their brand imagery coming together in print. The use of bold colors and thoughtful typography are the two most obvious examples. By focusing on these foundational elements at the beginning of a relationship, we created a design thread, which is still weaved throughout their marketing pieces today.
Branded collateral
The themes from the previous design work were ultimately carried over into a wide variety of branded collateral. Equipment one-sheets, sales literature, business cards and stationery, infographics, and branded clothing have all become part of this cohesive corporate image. Valiant came to us with a logo they already liked, and through a series of thoughtful design choices, we’ve helped build a brand that goes well beyond that logo.
